P&E Microcomputer Systems' Cyclone Universal /FX are extremely flexible tools designed for in-circuit flash programming, debugging, and testing of many 8-/16-/32-bit MCUs from NXP as well as ARM-Cortex devices from a variety of manufacturers. By connecting to a debug header on the target, the Cyclones can program, test, or debug internal memory on a supported processor or external flash connected to the processor's address/data bus, in-circuit.
The Cyclone models can be operated interactively via Windows-based programming applications, as well as under batch or dll commands from a PC. Once loaded with data by a PC the Cyclone can be disconnected and operated manually in a completely stand-alone mode via the touchscreen LCD menu and start button.
Cyclones connect to Host PC via Ethernet, USB, or serial interfaces. The Cyclones also function as a full-featured debug interface, and is supported by development softwares from P&E, NXP, and many other third parties.
